At NoTow, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our mobile application and website, and how we use it to provide our services.

1. Information We Collect

• Location Data: When you "drop a pin" or sync with CarPlay, we collect the precise location (latitude and longitude) of your parked vehicle. This is strictly to monitor for nearby complaints in public city records.
• Device Tokens: We collect Push Notification Tokens and Device IDs to send alerts to your device.
• Vehicle Information: If you use the Tow History Check tool, we temporarily process the license plate and state you provide to query public city records.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Prevent Tows: We constantly compare your vehicle's pinned location against publicly available city records regarding abandoned vehicle complaints.
• To Alert You: We use your device token to send you an immediate push notification if a complaint is filed near your car.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers. Your data is only shared with essential infrastructure providers strictly for the purpose of operating the NoTow service (such as cloud hosting and push notification delivery).

4. Data Retention

We store your last saved parking spot to monitor for complaints, but we do not retain a historical log of your past parking locations. We also store your device ID and push notification token to deliver alerts, and we retain a log of the alerts that have been sent to your device.
